It's hard not to love Red in the month of February. It's everywhere you look. Like a lot of you, Red is one of my favorite colors. It's on my favorite team, on the walls of my home and on all my marketing for my new studio. I LOVE red. But WHY do we really love it? Well, Red has more personal associations than any other color. Recognized as a stimulant, red is inherently exciting and the amount of red is directly related to the level of energy perceived. Red draws attention and a keen use of red as an accent can immediately focus attention on a particular element. RED also Increases enthusiasm, and Stimulates energy and can increase the blood pressure, respiration, heartbeat, and pulse rate. It Encourages action and confidence and Provides a sense of protection from fears and anxiety. Well, any who, that's what the scientists say.

Our top ten is never in any particular order. When you love the shot, check out the artist link below. Chances are you'll enjoy more of their work. Ready. Set. Here we go...

What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?

The icepocalypse killed my Valentine minis. Every beautiful child caught a cold and has a runny nose. I had so much cool stuff that are going to be rolled up for next year.

5/52 just Happy hidding Sad

My Marketing arrived on Monday. I put it up anyway. These babies are five feet tall. They really look fantastic.

On Wednesday, my sweet Madison crab walked into her door knob and wrecked her eye Rocky-style. After 3 days, it's a nice shade of purple. Poor baby Girl.

Lightened my hair a bit.

Sponsored the High School Baseball team. I really like our ad.

Bought a beautiful new statue for my office.

It's been a full week here and there is no stopping. I got a big wedding at the Grand Magnolia Ball room today. Sounds fancy right? I love weddings!

Wishing you all a wonderful week filled with family, fun and photography. Happy Valentine's day to you and those that you love.
