"Look Up" for week 26 provided our group of photographers to find some really interesting things. It was an excellent week to get out and shoot architecture or the moon or a bird. We really saw some fun things. I enjoyed that each shot of the moon got bigger and bigger reminding me that even though we seem so close each week, and we share the same sky, our Moon still looks a little bit different. And a quick shout out to our two new members this week - don't be shy, we're a fun group and BIG welcome to you! We are now 76 members strong.

Now on to our top ten shots of the week. If you enjoy the photographs, the artist's information is directly under the photograph. Check them out, leave them some love. Photography is a wonderful challenge of endless settings and lens options, and to top all that off, our group only hosts one photo a week! Sometimes narrowing down to a favorite shot of the week is the real challenge.

Here we go...

ONE {Love the detail, the distorted lines and the great black and white. Wonderful shot.}

Week 27's theme is "Fun in the Sun" - just in time for a wonderful 4th of July celebration.  {I love the 4th of July, but when it falls smack in the middle of the week, when do I celebrate? This weekend? Next weekend? Both? All week? I say all week, why not?} This was taken on my first outing with the new Canon Mark III.

What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?

I took the kiddos to see Brave. First Mother Daughter Disney movie - it's fantastic. Bring some tissue.

Mystery solved. There really is a smile in every pint of Blue Bell. FYI, new Coconut Fudge is excellent.

My Ebay auction of all my favorite things is going well. It's hard to believe I'm selling my Olympus gear. It ends on Sunday and I'm hoping to send it to a good home....looks like they might be going to Germany.

I'm rocking my round baby bump this week. No hiding this guy anymore.

Found this on my ipad yesterday. It was a real shocker. My husband is full of surprises. He said he bought it in February because he goofed one of my Christmas gifts, buying me James Patterson's book and not James Rollins. He did get the James part. He's pretty fantastic. So far, book is too.

Madison Canvas Sofa

Exciting buy of the week! Ariana Falerni Wall Guides are really fantastic. I think this is just what I've been looking for. Software comes with a variety of rooms and canvas & framing options to use with your photos. You can even take a photo of your client's wall show them your work on their wall. Love it. How about that shot of Madison this week? It's my favorite.

Also, Today starts a wonderful weekend on Creative Live - Photo Video Fusion - it's free. Check it out! {You know How much we love creative live here at Ellenburg Photography!}

Wishing you a wonderful week filled with family, fun, photography and a little fireworks. For those friends in the states, enjoy your Forth of July double weekend celebration!

I joined Project 52
We're a group for Photography Enthusiast and Professionals all teaching and learning through each other by photographing to a theme each week. We post our photos to our Flickr group each week by Thursday Midnight and start a new theme each Friday. Each Friday we spotlight 10 photographers and tell why they are featured. Our focus is on education (the how tos) and encouragement (don't be afraid to try something new). I'll bet there is something you'd like to learn. And...I'll bet there is something you can teach us. Check out the group, we're 76 strong this week! It's free to join and the friendships you'll make are priceless. Ellenburg Photography is proud to host this fine group of photographers. Join us today!
