Help Portrait is a wonderful way to combine my love of photography with holiday giving. Professional Photography is a luxury and Help Portrait's philosophy is simple. Find someone in need. Take their Portrait. Print it. Give it to them. On Saturday, December 8, 2012, the Eastern Shore Camera Club organized a stellar event complete with a wide variety of volunteers and deep pocket donations. It was an honored to participate.  I was the proud Photography editor and People-Poser for the team of booth number 4. I love editing photos as much as I love shooting them, I was in heaven. Every family was different. Each had a story more moving than the last.  I was hugged and thanked again and again by appreciative parents and beautiful children.  It made my heart full and my eyes misty. I'm already looking forward to next year. 

Never underestimate the impact to be had from a small act of kindness. 

Many Big heartfelt thanks to Debbie and the great team of volunteers at the Fairhope, Alabama Help Portrait event. We photographed nearly 40 families. It's was truly a humbling experience and felt good to be a part of it. If you get the opportunity to participate in Help Portrait in your area of the world, do it.
