This week, I've been thinking about my glass. Is it half full or half empty? Or is it overflowing. Some days it feels like it's half empty because I'm always so busy and some days it feels like it's half full because I'm so wonderfully busy. Starting a new business that you can't work in pajamas is a real challenge. If feels more REAL than ever before.

I don't know about you, but I've been spewing out proverbs all week. Seriously, I've used, the lemons, the gift horse, the smoke and fire, the patience is a virtue. I love them! You photographed some of my favorites!

Week 33's theme is "Anticipation. " The fall is almost here, what are you looking forward to?

I know what I'm looking forward to. It's not wearing my new boots, but that is on the list. Only 19 more days until the start of college football. I can see it now, every Saturday for months planned and spent with some of my best friends and favorite people wearing our favorite colors while glistening in the unforgiving Alabama Sun. This is baby Allie. She was in my studio this weekend and it looks like she can't wait 19 more days either!

What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?

This week I spoke in Springhill about the Ellenburg Photography Experience. I like to think I do more than just take beautiful portraits. It was a fun time and my table was amazing!

I added a new 20x30 portrait to my wall. Yep, those are MY babies. And this is the first portrait I photographed in my new space.

Held my baby. A lot. He's rocking a few curls.

Baby Jefferson was baptized and photographed. He was stunning in his all white! He's on the Move and will be sure challenge next month for his First birthday portraits!

I saw this and it made me laugh. I think you'll enjoy it too.

And, can you believe I found time to paint my nails? That's been on my list since the More time week! Wishing you a great week filled with family, fun and photography! Can't wait to see what you are anticipating for next week!
