Pair.

When Pair week came up, I immediately thought about shoes, because I love shoes and then there is that excuse for NEW shoes. Then I thought about eyes. And then Irela! What could be more perfect for pairs week than photographing someone in our group! It was a no brainer that Irela and Don are my shot of the week.

I call it "One Hot Pair" because, well look at them. When Irela asked me to photograph her for her birthday, I was very flattered. It's a big deal for another photographer to ask you to photograph them because lets face it, as photographers we are pretty much control freaks. I take all my own portraits. All of them, see above: Control Freak.

Irela put down her control freak hat and was perfect puddy for me. She tried all my crazy poses and didn't complain not one bit. She even brought everything I asked without hesitation. That's what you call one awesome client and friend. I can't wait to WOW her this week with her birthday portraits. Here's a peek:

What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?

This week I started the week with the blahs, full of ideas with no time to execute the magic but...now I'm blowing full speed ahead again. The roller coaster life of a wife, mother, and girl with two jobs continues. I'm really trying to pack as much into this life as I can stuff in it. Sigh.

This week I painted in REDS.

Snuck away for lunch with my husband. We should all sneak out with our spouses more.

Stuffed a box full of beauty.

Found a fun new nail polish for my Thursdays.

Took a selfie.

Met a wonderful friend.

Almost bought an amazing Hat.

Went Rollerskating.

With my terrified daughter. {That happened.}

Bought a horse.

Followed Jeff around while he wore Michael's shoes. And then held him as tight as I could.

Got to hold the most beautiful 10 day old baby girl.

Life is pretty good.
