Happy New Year Project 52ers! The new year is a NEW chapter in the book of you. What will you write? Will your resolutions stick? Will you start a great adventure? Will you star in other books? I love the first week of January. It's always brimming with hope and cheer and planning.
My wish this year for you is a year filled with endless possibilities and more love than you can stand. Be adventurous. Takes chances. Be bold and never forget to be YOU.
If you're new to Project 52, we are in our 3rd year of fun. We are a collective group of photographers and photo enthusiasts photographing to a weekly theme. We share our portraits in a Flickr group. We share techniques, styles and give positive feedback. If you enjoy photography, you'll love our group. Our top ten is always in no particular order. When you enjoy the shot, check out the artist. The artist links are directly below the shot. Ready? Here we go...

What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?
Well, for starters, I've got pneumonia. Isn't that crumby? I'm on a parade of medication in an effort to avoid hospitalization. I carry around a disk of images of my lungs. Yep, that's what's new here. Sad Face. I didn't want to start the new year sick.
It doesn't help that a couple of people around here that are my age recently kicked it from pneumonia, so i'm paranoid on top of ill. Isn't that ridiculous? {I'm an over sharer.}
So, I was diagnosed on New Year's eve...but still managed to stay away until Midnight...
Everyone made it to midnight this year except Jefferson.
I got this great fortune.
What do I resolve? I resolve to blog more and to get on with marketing my studio. What am I waiting for? This year is about taking action and building those dreams that I've lassoed. And also, I'll be shooting each week with YOU. I was always so stressed trying to get my shoot in early on one of my editing days, not this year. Not in 2014!
The rest of my days have been spent editing from bed and playing candy crush. Why have I resisted this game so long? Level 32 here I come.
Wishing you a wonderful week filled with fabulous beginnings!
