Week 24's black and white portrait theme really fired up some wonderful shots. I really think that I loved them all. {SERIOUSLY} There is really something magical about tiny people in black and white. And even more surprising, we had several group member brave out the dreaded self portrait - which I always think is more lovely in Black and White. And I promise we will have a Self Portrait week...I just haven't decided how round I want to be in my self portrait. No matter how you chose to fill your frame, the most important thing is that you didn't let any dust settle on your camera! Nice work Team 52!

So...what do we have here? Well we've got my favorite fashion magazines - a wealth of photography inspiration for $5.00, my Sookie book that I'm stretching out because I don't want it to end, Sparkling nail polish, the best lip gloss EVER and some back ups because I never want to run out, and my new iPhone 4s gifted by my super husband this past Wednesday.  I can't wait to see some of your random favorite things.  

What's new with Daphne? 

This week, I finished up all Amanda's wedding shots, and delivered them receiving oodles of hugs and smiles all day. That's really the way I want to spend all my weeks. It's really good for my ego.

Madison's dance recital was just amazing. I really hope she wants to dance and dance forever. And she did it with perfect hair. 

In other random news, I learned as tech savy as I think I am, I can not successfully transfer information from one iPhone to the next. How did I repay my amazing husband's gift? By changing all his phone contacts to the extensive bridal list I have on my desk top. Oopsy. He was less than happy about it and has vowed to update his next phone himself.

After reading 2-3 reviews a day on the Canon 5D Mark III, I have chickend out yet again. Truthfully, I've had the body and the 50mm 1.4 lens in my B&H cart for a week and I went to check out last night...and they are on back order...again, allowing me to continue to be a big giant chicken. Hmmp!

Also, here's a great photo tip...great Lightroom 4.0  workshop for FREE at Creative Live this week. It started yesterday and It's amazing. So many A HA! moments! Check it out.
