"Look Up" for week 26 provided our group of photographers to find some really interesting things. It was an excellent week to get out and shoot architecture or the moon or a bird. We really saw some fun things. I enjoyed that each shot of the moon got bigger and bigger reminding me that even though we seem so close each week, and we share the same sky, our Moon still looks a little bit different. And a quick shout out to our two new members this week - don't be shy, we're a fun group and BIG welcome to you! We are now 76 members strong.

Photography is a wonderful challenge of endless settings and lens options, and to top all that off, our group only hosts one photo a week! Project 52 Week 26/52 - Look Up By Fur Will Fly

Week 27's theme is "Fun in the Sun" - just in time for a wonderful 4th of July celebration.  {I love the 4th of July, but when it falls smack in the middle of the week, when do I celebrate? This weekend? Next weekend? Both? All week? I say all week, why not?} This was taken on my first outing with the new Canon Mark III.

What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?

I took the kiddos to see Brave. First Mother Daughter Disney movie - it's fantastic. Bring some tissue.

Mystery solved. There really is a smile in every pint of Blue Bell. FYI, new Coconut Fudge is excellent.

My Ebay auction of all my favorite things is going well. It's hard to believe I'm selling my Olympus gear. It ends on Sunday and I'm hoping to send it to a good home....looks like they might be going to Germany.

I'm rocking my round baby bump this week. No hiding this guy anymore.

Found this on my ipad yesterday. It was a real shocker. My husband is full of surprises. He said he bought it in February because he goofed one of my Christmas gifts, buying me James Patterson's book and not James Rollins. He did get the James part. He's pretty fantastic. So far, book is too.

Exciting buy of the week! Ariana Falerni Wall Guides are really fantastic. I think this is just what I've been looking for. Software comes with a variety of rooms and canvas & framing options to use with your photos. You can even take a photo of your client's wall show them your work on their wall. Love it. How about that shot of Madison this week? It's my favorite.
