Texture week seemed to really get our photography group excited. Textures are always fun because you can actually go out there and find them or you can just overlay on top of your photos for some added fun.  And to really shake things up, some of us did both.  I love it when we shake things up.
Our weekly top ten is always in no particular order. If you enjoy the photograph, the artist's information is below it. Check out their work, send them some love. And tell them why you like it. Photography can easily slip into a confusing adventure of endless lens and setting options, and sometimes when you discover something new, it's magical.

Week 29's theme is "Self Portrait Week" - Oh yes, you knew it was coming, but don't be afraid. Here I am in all my round glory. No remote yet, untethered....working only with my 10 second timer. If I can pull this off, you guys are really going to shine this week! Can't wait to see your shining faces :-) Additionally, this shot was edited only with Lightroom 4.0 using my new super sweet Sal Cincotta Presets. {I love presets!}

What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?

I started my week with a super fun tiny girl photo shoot - two lovely sisters.  When I photograph little girls, I love to get all the shots Mom wants and then end our session with my dress up box. Kids love hats - it's always a hit!

We worked on Mike's Man Cave this weekend. Fresh paint. New Carpet. And awesome new Dental Molding to hide 7 point surround sound speaker wire. Its looking really sweet.

Saw this and considered bedazzling the new Mark III. {I know I could rock that out}

Do you remember Charm Necklaces? I had one when I was a little girl that I would clink and clank about the house in. It's hard to be sneaky while wearing a charm necklace. I found this one for Madison. She's been coloring rainbow dogs all week...so this rainbow dog charm seemed perfect for her. I also found a "Big Sister" charm for her when new nameless baby arrives. 

Also, new baby's check up was great. I only gained 3 pounds instead of my usual 5...and I'm back in 2 weeks.
