Yellow.

Yellow is my favorite color. It always makes me happy. As it turns out, I'm not alone. In the meaning of color in color psychology, yellow is the color of the mind and the intellect. It is optimistic and cheerful. However it can also suggest impatience and criticism and cowardice. Those last ones never bothered me much. :-)
For my Yellow this week, I used a shot of Graycee. Graycee is one of our adorable Kindergarden Graduates. Tiny babies in caps and gowns with 2014 tassels is the cutest thing I've ever seen. We photograph our tiny graduates the same way we do our big girls. Seriously, this is so stinking cute.
I loved your yellows this week! There was such a great variety as you'd expect. Everything from flowers to fruit to baseball. It was great week of yellow around here.
Our top 10 is always in no particular order. When you love the photograph, check out the artist. Chances are you will enjoy more of their work. Ready. Set. Here we go...

What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?
A terrible illness has hit the Ellenburg house. It is some sort of stomach virus that has bounced from person to person - except me. {Fingers Crossed. Knock on Wood.} But I've spent most of my time cleaning up after everyone and playing referee trying to keep everyone apart so it would spread and trying every scent of lysol. I am pretty sure that Orange is the best.
Before the sickness, I had a pretty good week. We had some wonderful clients in and out and finally finished our gorgeous recital program for Studio 43. I've been really humbled at the kind words thrown at us this week. It's nice to know that when you pour your heart into something that it is genuinely appreciated. I have the best clients.
So Here's my week in photos....
Gorgeous 10 day old baby portraits were a hit with happy parents.
Created the most adorable portraits for a Snow White themed birthday party. Ever.
Had date night with my handsome husband. We rocked dinner and a movie. I'm a sucker for all things Captain America.
I bought this on date night. Not for fitness, but for fabulous posing. Boy are they heavy!
Enjoyed Jackson's spring JV game. He was rocking some special teams. It was fun to watch him on the field - so serious the whole time.
And I made dinner for my college big Sis. Nothing fancy, but no one cooks for her. I love that she keeps me on her stops when she blows across the country like a beautiful flower. She really is the best big sister a girl could ever ask for.
Wishing you a wonderful week filled with family fun and photography and good health!
XoXoXo,
Daphne
