Yellow Makes Me Happy.
Saturday, July 27, 2013 | By: Daphne Ellenburg
Yellow is the happiest color and maybe, just maybe that's why it's my favorite color. Yellow makes me think about sunshine and smiling faces. I'm not alone, fancy doctors say that Yellow shines with optimism, enlightenment and happiness. Shades of golden yellow carry the promise of a positive future. Yellow will advance from surrounding colors and instill optimism and creative thoughts. And if that wasn't enough, they say that Yellow stimulates the Nervous System! It activates memory, encourages communication and stirs the mental process. But it turns out that those same doctors hang a big yellow flag up for quarantines, it's a caution color for drivers and a penalty flag for football. What it boils down to, is your cup half empty or half full. The battle continues... And by the way, did anyone else see this Yellow story on the news? http://news.yahoo.com/video/mystery-substance-turns-family-pool-212416353.html My kid says, isn't it yellow week on your group? Any shots of that pool? Pheeeewww - Nope.
I loved all these yellow shots. I seriously want to feature them all! Great work this week. It is so nice to see how much so many of us have grown and gotten purely technically better over these thirty weeks. You keep getting better every week. Thanks for taking so many wonderful shots and sharing how you created them to help us all get better!

Week 31's theme is: "I made it"
For weeks I've been buying, building and painting for one big day. Last Saturday, we had our very first Fashion Runway Adventure party at our NEW {still unopened} studio! You are looking at 20 feet of lighted runway awesomeness! With a festive silver curtain ~ it was a nice touch. Don't you think?
This is nearly straight out of camera. I just popped the vibrance - because I like bold color!
What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?
The birthday party was a hit! Madison was there and had no interest in dressing up or getting her nails done. A real bummer (for me). She played on the run way non-stop for 3 days. She was over it. Sad face. Here's a few of the girls:
And check out my party favor - a fashion Mag about our birthday girl and her party. I think it's so cool and I'm having so much fun making it. As soon as it's complete - I'll write about and share it with you!
I went to visit the GCPPA - {the gulf coast professional photographers association} meeting. It looks like something that I might enjoy. I even took Mike along with me.
I passed my electrical and fire inspections this week and now have a business license in my new city!
Jefferson was doing a little holiday shopping this week. He sure does love my laptop!
And I made some waffles. It's been a solid week!
Wishing you a fantastic week filled with family, fun and photography! Make it a GREAT week!
