3/52 Our Favorites!
Friday, January 20, 2012 | By: Daphne Ellenburg
I was so impressed with all the great things our fun group of photographers found in a row. Not only was it fun looking at the whats, I really enjoyed the wheres. One of my favorite things about our group is getting to see so much of our world in one week. We are a wonderfully spread out group and I love seeing the things you see.
This week before I go into my usual round of top ten favorites, I like to think of you all as friends and I'd like to share some exciting news about my family with you. This picture has been in my head for a week & I brought it to life today.
Yes, we're expecting a new bundle of joy. It's early & I feel great - a little tired, but GREAT! {I ran this photo through a fun program by Alien Skin Software called SnapArt3 - I almost love it enough to purchase it after my trial is over. This is our Christmas photo with a detailed Oil paint overlay. It really softened up the cartoon graphics.}
Now on to the top ten. As always, our weekly top ten is in no particular order - our artists (a group that has grown to 56 this week) work hard at these photos, links to their work are below the photograph, click on the links and check them out. Remember Everyone could use a little encouraging pat on the back every now and then, so go ahead & pat away!

Week 4/52's theme is "Mis-Matched" - when I was thinking about this theme, Madison was an easy target. She is in love with these sequenced hot pink tennis shoes. I bought them for her for Christmas. She is confident that they will go with everything. She took it too far when she paired them with ballet class. Silly Girl, I love her so much.
This photo was processed with the Nik software's Define 2.0, Viveza 2.0 to define the structure of the tutu, then Color Efex 4 to add a detail Contrast effect. Wishing you a wonderful week filled with Mis-Matched Adventure, fun, family & Photography! Thank you so much for participating in this 52 Week Challenge.
XoXoXo,
Daphne
So, What is EP Project-52?
We're a group for Photography Enthusiast and Professionals all teaching and learning through each other by photographing to a theme each week. We post our photos to our Flickr group each week by Thursday Midnight and start a new theme each Friday. Each Friday we spotlight 10 photographers and tell why they are featured. Our focus is on education (the how tos) and encouragement (don't be afraid to try something new). I'll bet there is something you'd like to learn. And...I'll bet there is something you can teach us. Check out the group, we're 53 strong this week! It's free to join and the friendships you'll make are priceless. Join us today!
