April Fool's Day got really out of hand at my house this year. Does this look like a child that got up at 5am to lace the home with trickery?
Well - it sure is. This is Jackson, my almost Twelve Year old. He has provided me with the most interesting April Fool's day yet. I suppose that this is the kind of thing I have to look forward to as my Ellenburg babe's get older.
The day started with my clock being turned back 1 hour. This might of been an issue on a weekday but Sunday is my "Lazy" day...so I thought that was tame. Then my coffee creamer disappeared. That is where I draw the line. Don't mess with my "Dark Magic" Keurig Morning.
Other tomfoolery Provided:
Snake in the Microwave.
Rubber-band on the sink wand. Uncool. And, Wet.
Giant Shark in the Freezer.
Substituted Salt for Sugar in his Grandmother's Coffee.
Unscrewed salt shaker cover.
Super Tiny Bucket of confetti on random bedroom doors - one bucket hitting his brother in the head.
Did anyone get him back? Well....Dad sprayed him with the Kitchen Wand. He didn't like it. And we salted his morning coffee while he was in the restroom. He didn't like that either - but it did cause his Brother & Grandmother to High-five at the breakfast table. A rare sight indeed.
Next year, I've got to better prepared!
