Week 13's theme of "Just Before Dark" - pulled out some wonderful creativity and adventure in our group of photographers this week. Not only did we see the sunset in so much variety as it set all over the world, but we loved that our photographers are out traveling and posting from new fun locations....like Scotland or my personal favorite get-a-way, Destin Florida. No matter where you found your adventure...it was a delight to see each day.

Where is Kathy? Well you can only find here here on Flickr and she's got tons of great things to look at! In fact, right now you can see 466 great things. Kathy is a Nikon girl, living in rural Wisconsin. She had 4 lovely children and her family operates 240 acre Dairy Farm.
She enjoys photographing Old buildings & Barns.

She started with Flickr's Pioneer women group and later joined MCP's group, where I was introduced to her work. She loves learning and believes that these Project 52's really helps people grow creatively - and I couldn't agree more! When she's not on the farm, you can find her in Destin, Florida...where she is this week. WEEK 14'S THEME IS..."VARIETY"

14/52 Animal Crackers By Ellenburg Photography

I often answer many questions about animal crackers when my babes and I enjoy them, none more than "Which one is this?" Did you know there have been 37 different kinds of Animal Crackers since 1903. The current crackers are tiger, cougar, camel, rhinoceros, kangaroo, hippopotamus, bison, lion, hyena, zebra, elephant, sheep, bear, gorilla, monkey, polar bear, sealgiraffe. There is no way all of these are living inside my bag... Enjoy hunting for variety this week, remember it's the spice of life.
About the photo: This week's photo was edited in Lightroom 4.0 with Marcus Bell's Instant Porcelain collection. I increased the sharpness on the cookies and those are the hands of the Ellenburg Trio - they are good helpers. If you haven't looked into the Marcus Bell Software collections - they are FAB. They are unlike any other product I've used. They only work on RAW files keeping your files larger and more pure - I found that I can do most of the tweaking I did in Photoshop with the new Lightroom 4.0 - It's pretty sweet.

and What's New with Daphne?
This week I was invited to a Traveling Soccer Tournament to photograph for college recruiting purposes - action shots and video. I met a lot of wonderful families and enjoyed a few great games.

I won this amazing software....

And today, I'm going to the Festival of Flowers with my Mother and young Daughter to see my photo with a gynourmous Red Ribbon.

Also, on Thursday (Fingers Crossed) we might find out what the baby is.

For many of us, this is the start of Holy Week. A busy time to celebrate our Faith with Friends and Family. Wishing you all a fantastic week filled with Friends, Family and Photography!
