I love everything about going to the movies. I love the terrible carpet. I love the smell of fresh buttery popcorn that hits you as soon as you open the door. I love the previews. All of them. And I especially love when the movie is fantastic and I picked it. Yes, I'm that person. 

Many years ago just before I met Mr. Ellenburg I had an epic string of BAD first dates. The kind of dates you'd start by scoping all possible exits whenever you entered a room. When I met Mike, he asked me to go to a movie. I told him, "You better pick a good one, or that might be the last time you see me." That was so ballsy. But I said it anyway and here we are today. I'm so glad "The Inside Man" wasn't a flop. Which proves that a lot of great ideas, do start at the movies.

You guys really were all across the board this week with your movie choices. Great comedy. Great Action. Scary Horror and even some animation. A great collection from a great group.

ONE {Speed. You rocked out some great panning. Panning is hard. Really hard. I love the great colored lines and that your Fast and Furious driver is nice and focused.}

This is baby Gracie. She was only 7 days old yesterday. She was adorable and HUNGRY.

I call this: You can't smile when you're hungry. :-)

What's NEW with Daphne Ellenburg?

It's been one of those burning the candle on both ends kind of week. Shooting and editing and building? Yes. Building new props. I love it and hate all at the same time, that's how you know it's True Love. Well, according to Pink.

I'm building my own standing v-flats. 3 inches would be ideal, but in the great state of Alabama contractors don't have to use 3 inch foam installation, so they don't stock it here. Sad face. I thought, well fine then I'll buy a couple of 1.5's and glue 'em together.  I didn't know much about using a caulk gun until this week. And Madison was eager to help.

They came out pretty good.

And they are reversable. A win win.  Here's the first test shot.

I watched my oldest boy knock down other boys. #60 is mine.

Created some wonderful marketing for my Complete Baby program.

And I spent a wonderful evening piled up with all the Ellenburgs. It was the best 30 minutes of the week. I love those knuckle heads.
