I am looking more and more Botticelli with each passing day. And everytime I look in the mirror, I know that hiding under this Botticelli Baby Belly is really a Renoir. {That's my story and I'm sticking to it.}
The last few weeks of my pregnancy are when I usually like to go into hiding ... But this year, I have been taking a lot of heat for never {EVER} taking a maternity photo. Michael aways offers to take them, and I like to always respond with "Never!" {Seriously}... but this year I gave in and created a self portrait. As far as a self portrait goes, I'm pretty proud of this one.
I really like it.
Mike and I also have been working on a name for this new little guy. As far as names go...we both have a #1 name. Mine is Taylor and Mike's is Jefferson. We're not really battling, as much as not giving in and stretching it out for pure sport. Last week, we were in a close out store and found 16 feet of random wooden letters. Mike suggested we race for the name...mind you he's full on racing a pregnant woman. He's close...I'm close...and would you believe there were NO letter "R's"? Yep, I could only spell Taylo and that's not cool. And Jeffeson isn't a winner either. So the battle continued. Until yesterday.
So the new baby will be....
Baby Jefferson is ironically due Labor week. And now that he's got a name....we might as well start on his room.

Daphne Ellenburg - Thanks Catherine! I actually made these birth announcements in both names....just waiting until we picked between our names. I can't wait to pop his photo in this shot :-) My newborn nest should arrive today!!!
