Panning is the Devil.

This week we got to see all your cool moves and I've got to say - wow, they are good! Motion week is a real panic attack week for me because well, you see...I can't pan. Ok, I CAN pan with my camera. But it's not good. It's really wicked tough. I'm not going to win an award for it. Ever. But Catherine might. I'm always impressed with a great panned shot.
Our photos as always are in no particular order. When you love the shot, check out the artist. Everyone posts one a week so this is their best of the best shot. So send them some love. The artist links are directly below each shot - so go over and send them some LOVE.
Ready. Set. Here we go...

Week 46's theme is "Glass"
This week, I've got holiday fever and I photographed my glass balls. Yep, that's right. And the neat thing about photographing something reflective is there you are holding your camera, so do something cool. The distortion here makes me look super tall. I like it.
What's new with Daphne?
Having holiday fever and all, I made a pilgrimage to the most wonderfully decorated retail store ever. Pottery Barn. They inspired me to spend a small fortune on Throw pillows for my red sofa. I love them.
No one highjacked baby bath time from me all week. It's the most relaxing part of my day. Playing with boats. Making bubble beards. I love this happy little guy.
I started decorating the studio. I'm still not finished.
Which led to decorating the house. I say, blame it on the day job.
I often move what ever I'm working on in the studio to my portable tiny 1TB drive when I leave and work a little at home. My drive has a short in the wire, causing me to have a panic attack for all the work I'm supposed to be showing this weekend. Yikes. Thank goodness I can hold it a certain way and work with one hand to get everything off of it and on to this new tiny beast.
We were the proud sponsor of the "Just Dance" booth at the Saraland Elementary School fall festival. It made perfect sense since I'm such an amazing dancer with my 1985 cool dance moves. The teachers here did a dance off for a wonderful session and print credit to our new Saraland Studio. Congratulation to the teacher with coolest moves, Ms. Tara Greene.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of a great meeting with an Alabama author, Jill Dill Vincent. She has written Little Receivables, Big Cash Flow and Inspirational Poems. She's a breath of fresh air and was so great to talk to. She read from her book to me and ended our nearly two hour meeting with a hug. You can't beat that. Check her out.

Kelly - Your baby's wonder at the lights and ornaments is precious. The eye of an artist is a beautiful way to experience the holiday season. I can't wait to see what you put together!
