Week 15, Our Stackable Favorites.
Friday, April 13, 2012 | By: Daphne Ellenburg
I'm writing to you this morning from I-65 headed north for a weekend of football in Tuscaloosa. I've got the car packed with Ellenburgs. It's sure to be an exciting kick off to our Spring Break week here in Alabama.
Week 15 provided us with a full week of stackable fun. When you really think about it, just about anything is stackable - the door was wide open for creativity this week. I really enjoyed all the fun I had with my good-news peeps stack and it was so fun to see all the fun things you guys were stacking. We saw dish stacks, card stacks, plenty of tasty stacks....I was sure I'd see plenty of lego...but you guys are always full of surprises!
Now on to this week's top ten...as always our top ten is in no particular order. The contact information for each artist is listed below. If you enjoy the photograph, check out their other work and leave them some love. Photography is a constant challenge of endless setting combos and it's sometimes it's hard to turn that great idea into photography magic. A little pat on the back can go a long way. So pat away!
Here we go...

HONORABLE MENTION - Many thanks to Ragenna Prince for this thoughtful shot this week. This is such an exciting time for our family. My husband and I each only have one sibling, and have both always wanted a big family. This new baby boy is will make a fine addition to our fun and entertaining group.

Week 16's theme is "It's good for you" - It was hard to choose one thing...but I photographed my favorite green veggie - the only one little person that has bought into this "It's good for you" is Madison.
16/52 My Favorite Green Flower By Ellenburg Photography
This week's shot was edited with Lightroom 4.0, Nik's Define & Viveza with Photoshop CS5. Here's a pull out of my studio shot. I'm using my E-5, 50-200 2.8 lens, tripod, 2 soft boxes, 1 reflector & white foam board.
What's new with Daphne this week?
I got into a swanky bridal show at the end of the month. I spend most of my free time updating my albums, books & prints....
I fried oysters for the first time last Friday - it's about time I suppose. My mom usually fries them for me every Good Friday...but she spent the Holiday in Louisiana with her Sister.
We celebrated a great and quiet Easter.
Madison cleaned her very pink room. (A holiday miracle)
My first born turned 12 years old. (But I am still taller than him)
And Grant finished up the first half of his Baseball Season with another win.
All in all, it's been a wonderful week. Hope yours was just as great.
Wishing you a wonderful week filled with family, fun and Photography. Make it a great week!
XoXoXo,
Daphne
