Rings and things are always fun for me to shoot. Not just brides and grooms at our weddings, but on little people. There is nothing cuter than tiny girls in big pearls or sparkling gems. I'm always adding to the sparkling things I use in my studio. I added these bracelets last week. Of course, my lovely daughter, Madison couldn't wait to model them. I think she had them on as soon as I snapped the tags off them. I love that she loves to be in front of my camera.
You guys really found some great things to photograph for this week's theme. I was impressed at how many ring varieties you were able to find...right down to the great edible rings, proving not every ring is for the finger, there are indeed some for the belly.
On to the top ten. As always, our top ten is in no particular order. Our artists links are below each photograph. If you like the shot, swing over and check out their work, and send them some love. Tell them what you liked. Photography is art. It's always changing. There is always something new to try and to learn. It feels good to send out some pats on the back, so go ahead and pat away! Here we go...
ONE {I really love the rope texture & the bokeh'd shimmer in the background stones. Really nicely done.}
TWO {This shot has a lot of great things going on. Great reflection. Great shadow. And a great interesting dangling subject.}
THREE {I always love the ring in a book. It's a classic favorite. It is so nicely done here in black and white. The book is an excellent choice. Love the way the light catches the ring. Great work here Treasure!}
FOUR {I love the variety, the wonderful vintage processing, and the great textured window backdrop to this shot. Great work here!}
FIVE {The colors really pop. I love the vignetting and the mystifying gravity ring shot. It's so creatively put together.}
SIX {Great leading lines to the charm. Well put together. I love all the great colors. A beautiful collection.}
SEVEN {I'll tell you, you had me at secret engineer society mysteries. A wonderful shot wrapped in the throws of the next great mystery novel. Great shot Laura!}
EIGHT {The blue really pops on this red biker dirt. This is such a cute idea. It really stood out this week!}
NINE {This is such a great colorful shot. The toys really make this a fun photograph.}
TEN {This is a wonderful ring find. I love Zinnias. They come in every color, easy to grow, hard to kill and cut they almost last forever. It's my kind of flower! Great shot!}
