Week 7, Our Favorites!
Friday, February 17, 2012 | By: Daphne Ellenburg
This week, "A Hint of Red" was both a Challenge and a Grand Slam for some of our great photographers. Red is one of those colors you either Love to photograph it or you dread it....this group really did a fine job with the challenge. I love the creativity and the places you found your hint of red. I know you enjoyed looking through them each day as much as I did. Out of all the One Photo a Weeks you uploaded, it was a real challenge to narrow down to only ten...but here we go anyway.
As always, our top ten is in no particular order. The Artist Links are listed below each photograph. If you enjoy the photo, visit the link and send them some love. Photography isn't easy...your words of encouragement can make all the difference to an artist who struggled with the theme this week. So go ahead, and give out some pats on the backs to your fellow group members.

Now on to Week 8's exciting theme..."Fuzzy" Here is a shot of my new favorite Fuzzy Fruit...
And the best part of this, was after the shoot...I ate the fruit. I love photographing things I can eat. I'd be one chubby Food Photographer.
What's new with Daphne?
Well...I'm still unpacking from last weeks awesome adventure - I can speed-pack in one hour and procrastinate weeks to unpack. I just hate it.
My new baby has been being rotten...this week it hates Apples. But Kiwi is a hit. So confusing. We did get a look at the new baby on Wednesday.
Now that Michael has seen the baby, he's gone into new father panic mode. He actually started a list of things that MUST be done before the baby is born. Already? Really? As for the rest of my week...I'm going to give unpacking another try, start on my taxes {barf}, and attempt to create something Magical for the Festival of Flowers Photography Contest ...We placed for best of show last year on my first try with only one photo entered - I've set the bar a little high for myself....but I do love a Challenge. Here is last years Winning shot:
Wishing you guys a wonderful week filled with Family, Fun, Fuzzy Surprises and Photography! Make it a great week!
XoXoXo,
Daphne
