Blair Who?

In my home we all have a some specialized skill to offer our growing family. I am the Photographer, and my husband is the Videographer. {Did you know that Mike WAS a Wedding Videographer when I met him?} Any way, I was asked photograph & video an event recently. Mike has a fancy full HD video recorder and I've seen him video 1000's of times, and I hate to say NO. How hard could it be? I even brought along my tripod.
The photography was stellar. {Patting myself on the back} I'm rocking out some CS5 Production Premium software to edit the video (of which I never use). Mike offered to edit my video into something fabulous. After reviewing my video footage, here's how that conversation went.
"Daphne your video skills are on par with the Blair Witch Project"

"Awesome! Wasn't that hit?" {I remember watching behind covered eyes}
"You are missing the point."
Ahhhh. {Sad Face}
Thank goodness I'm a photographer, not a videographer. Remember if you need video, I know a guy.
