Blessings

Blessings. Count them. Give them. Get them. Pay it forward. Count them again. An endless cycle of wonderful. If you're facebook feed is anything like mine, you've been reading a whole bunch of blessings for the entire month of November. And while I elect not to publicly parade my blessings, I like to acknowledge that they are there every day of the year and that we have many of them in common. Family, friends, children, husbands, wives are all a great blessing to fill our lives with wonderful joy. As for me, Michael is my greatest blessing. He makes our house a home and always keeps a crutch on my dreams. I am one lucky gal.
As thanksgiving approaches us, I'd like to send a blessing your way.
Our top ten is always in no particular order. When you enjoy the portrait, visit the artist. The artist links are directly below the shot. Here we go...

Week 48's theme is "It's a BOOK"
The Great Gatsby. I love it. I read it for the first time this year and couldn't get enough. It was one of those books that I didn't want to end. I was just completely sucked into all things Gatsby. I've been collecting props for this shoot for months. Meet Karson. She's young. She's beautiful. And she loves all things Gastby too. Thanks Karson for stopping by to play dress up with me.
What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?
Remember that amazing silver chair? I broke it. In half. My runway seriously fell on it. Sad face.
I bought myself a birthday present. Yes, in days I'll be 38. Where did 37 go? My gift to me? It's a hair light on a boom. I'm not in love with it yet.
I found this on the doorstep of my studio this week from Fellow Project 52'ers Carolyn and Cindy from Texas. It's nice when people stop by. I sure wish I were there. Maybe on your way back the other way? Big Thanks. I sure did LOVE it. And guess what? It's still alive! I'm so proud.
Spent a little time at the studio goofing off with my babies.
This shot is going to be something magical.
The butter turkey is back!
Every week this month, I've been Thanksgiving shopping with Madison. She has been looking for a 100 pound Turkey. I let her look for about 20 minutes or so Friday night. She's so cute digging thru the frozen turkeys, legs dangling like she's bobbing for apples. We settled on a fifteen pounder.
Wishing you a wonderful week filled with family, fun, photography and turkey. I hope you a have a wonderful safe holiday!

Kelly - This was the new word week for me for sure. I used the word Saban'd and saw the word Gatsby'd in print. Excellent use for both words that surely will dominate in the future!
