It's a Book.

A good book is a great escape from anything and everything, especially when you can't put it down! The last book I couldn't put down was Dan Brown's Inferno. The best books are the ones you never hope will end. The Great Gatsby was like that for me. I could of read about them forever. You guys really had a great variety of wonderful books from classic children's books to Cook books. I couldn't ask for a more creative group of photographers to pal around with every week. You guys are fantastic. The top ten was tough this week. I wanted to feature them all!
Our top ten is always in no particular order. When you enjoy the photograph, visit the artist. The artist links are directly below the shot. Chances are you will enjoy more of their fantastic shots! Here we GO!

I save them. I don't know what I'll do with them, but they are fun to have. Where the Wild things are. Love it.}

Week 49's Theme is: RED
This week I've really been packing it all in. Birthday. Thanksgiving. Six Family portraits. I've seen a lot of Red this week, but as a completely bias photographer, I loved this one the most.
This is only daughter with my youngest son: Madison, almost 6 and Jefferson, 15 mos. {Michael thinks he looks like one of those lollypop kids!}
Jefferson's funny face here makes me giggle, but this one will probably make the Christmas card.
What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?
My Birthday was stellar. Usually, Monday birthdays are doomed with the usual nonsense of Monday, so I celebrated on Sunday night just in case. {Come on, I had the crown.}
My Mom really bought 38 candles for the tasty German Chocolate cake she baked me. Me and my boys, compliments of the husband.
I bought myself a hair light on a boom. Total life changer guys.
And the husband surprised me with some bling. It's so nice and sparkly. It makes me want to paint my nails.
Wednesday night was date night with my younger man. My husband is 8 days younger than me.
Thanksgiving was bountiful and our table and our bellies were full.
Today we are preparing for the biggest day of college football love around these parts of the world, the Iron Bowl. Alabama vs. Auburn. I put up my tree in the studio and no one turned it down for a portrait yesterday. So much fun. We will completely and 100% unavailable after 3pm today. This is baby Haleigh. She says, "Roll Tide!"
Wishing you a wonderful week filled with family fun and photography. Make it a GREAT week!
Next week, I'll be writing to you from beautiful Key West, Florida. Yippee!

Laura - Thanks, Daphne! I will make sure that "Dr. Oliver" gets an extra carob drop from Madison. :)
