Him. Who is he? He's a father, a brother, a husband, and a dream catcher. He's a provider, an entertainer, and Master of the Grill. He is a world class tickler, bubble blower, and an all around Super Man. 

It was a delight to look into your lives this week and see all about the HIM in your world. It takes a pretty special guy / gal to love a photographer and it looks like you've got a an especially wonderful bunch to love. I say that because I read this and it really gave me a good laugh. To maximize my water, I went to the beach - Orange Beach, Alabama. Enjoy this shot of beautiful Taylor with my favorite starfish.

Edited super quick in CS6 with a pop in vibrance and a little sharpening on the starfish. Easy Breezy. Shot with my trusty 35mm. This lens is quickly becoming my favorite lens.

What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?

Well for starters, I'm writing to you from Orlando, Florida where ironically I'm at the Dolphin suites at Walt Disney World. {Dolphins kind of freak me out} The dolphins here look mostly like Koi, so they are less intimidating. I'm here for a sales and technology conference. It's rained most of the time, and I of course had to buy one of those famous ponchos to wander around in. I wish I could say that I went out and did amazing things, but not so much. I spent most of my time inside. I didn't even see Mickey.

Before I left, I held my baby as long as I could.

Goofed around with these knuckleheads.

Photographed beautiful ladies on the beach.

Photographed gorgeous dancers to the music of Grease.

And found out that while I was here in Orlando, my new studio has been freshly painted and the new flooring has been installed. I'm pretty excited and can't wait to be back in sweet home Alabama.  I'll be flying Delta most of Saturday afternoon. Wish me luck.
