Water Water everywhere! I thought about water all week. It's soooooo hot here. The Alabama sun is unforgiving as we're rocking some 99 degree days this week. This week I would have rather spent most of my day pretending to be a mermaid at the pool or the beach or anywhere I could be mostly submerged in water coated safely in my 100 spf. But since I couldn't I consumed as much lemon-aid and tea as humanly possible in the cool inside air. 

I loved all the great water shots this week. It was great to see how involved everyone's families were in your shots this week. Thanks for sharing so many smiling faces staying cool in the summer heat.

Week 27's theme is COMEDY. There are plenty of laughs to be had this week, photograph one :-) I chose a classic - groucho glasses combined with my big eyed girl.

What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?

It's been a full week. My travel home was the pits - tons of delays. Five extra hours. On the bright side, I met a super star at the airport. (No, it wasn't Nick Cage.) And guess what she has thumbs. I was as surprised as you.

And I may have played around with a wand or two. {it was a very L..O..N..G layover and it's not like any of my spells worked anyway}

Baby Jefferson had a fantastic 9 month check up - He gained almost two pounds and is almost 30 inches long. He also had his first bubble beard this week.

I gave into the super bright shoe craze. Oh, yeah. I wore these.

I wow'd my client with this 20x30 framed Movie poster for her dance studio.

And the BIG news this week is My studio is finished. Fresh paint & New floors.

I looked at all this big beautiful space and all I could think about was how long I've wanted it, and that it was finally here and that is was all mine. So, what I do?

I cried like a big baby.  {That's me with the big puffy red eyes} Tears of Joy. Followed by Fear. Then Joy again. Saturday, I'm going to go Cinderella on these floors and start moving in. It's going to be a great week.
