In a Row.

In a row is a great theme to be totally random. Anything can be in a row. Finding that perfect "in a row" for you is where the real creativity kicks in. For me, I like to work the weekly theme into my studio work. My clients really love when they are my shot of the week. This week, when I saw these bunnies, I knew I'd found my shot.

15/52 Bunnies in a row

These are the newest tiny dancers of One Step Ahead dance studio in Mobile Alabama. I love this studio. They are so friendly and so competitive winning trophy after trophy with their amazing dance and clogging routines. Did you know one of my photos of one of on of thier dancers one Best in Show for Miss Photogenic? I was just as excited as she was! They always make me feel welcome when I stop by. I really enjoy being their recital photographer.

Big thanks to the photographers who opened their restrictions to participate in our top ten. That wacky flickr is really toying with my blog writing. We never download your photo, only share via HTML.

You want in a row, we've got 'em. Our top 10 is always in no particular order. When you love the shot, check out the artist. Chances are you will enjoy more of their fabulous work!

Ready. Set. Here we go...

What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?

I have been insanely busy this week. Trying to be a super awesome Mom, run a bookstore and thriving photography studio has really been taking it's tole on me. So where do I sacrifice? Sleep ofcourse. Lack of sleep came to a crashing disaster of short temperness. Michael, sorry I was such a big meanie most of the day. (Seriously)

So, what having I been doing since I'm not sleeping? Well, when I wasn't editing or finalizing my taxes for 2013, here's what we've been doing:

I went back to Denny's and bought two new backdrops. I love these guys. They are so nice to me and I wish I'd known they were there forever ago.

There were many evenings of wind up chicken races. My chicken never has a chance with Jefferson's tiny grabby hands.

Week 15

Had a picnic with a bunch of kindergardeners. I brought the Sushi. Yep, it was a hit.

My Oldest boy turned 14. Sad face. We had a wonderful party for him complete with an amazing cake that Mike and I decorated.

So what does a 14 year old want? A cross bow. I declined, but he did get some new Xbox one games, graphic t's, Jeans, and air soft guns and gear. He seems pretty darn happy. We finished the evening watching the new Hobbit movie. Not bad.

And I had another Senior in on Saturday. She was a real beauty and was this year's prom queen. Yes, I did try on her crown. You would have done it too, it was so sparkly.

Wishing you a wonderful week of Fun, Family and Photography! And for those of you on Spring Break - live it up!!

XoXoXo,

Daphne
