Sweet.

Sweet. Is it a tasty treat? A wonderful smell? Or an emotion that makes your inside feel all soft and gushy? We saw them all this week in our group.
I spent most of my week on the Easter candy aisle trying to decide which sugar sparkling treat that I would photograph with the 80mm 1.8 - but nothing compared to sparkling eyes and sweet smile of 8 month baby Jocelyn. Jocelyn, what a cool name even! Her Grandparents and her Mom brought her into the studio on Wednesday and we had a great time.
Housekeeping for the Project 52 group: Flickr and I are having a love hate relationship this week. They make sharing your photos such a challenge with all the new restrictions. While we boasted more than 10 photos submitted but less than 10 were sharable to the new restrictions - so this week we are rocking a top 5. Grrr, Flickr.
Top 5 here we go. When you love the photograph, check out the artist! The artist links and any blog or website they would like to share is located below the photo. If you enjoy this one, chances are you will enjoy more of their work. Check them out!

What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?
This week was filled with a lot of firsts. Most importantly, our family had a big first for our faith. My wonderful husband, Michael, who has been attending church regularly with us forever, attended RCIA classes all year and became Catholic at our Easter Vigil mass last night. We are so proud of him!
Next up, poor sweet baby Jefferson had is first hair cut.
He immediately regretted going shorter as we all often do. He is warming up to his new "DO".
The Carnies moved in across from my studio. Now I can have cotton candy anytime I want.
I did some shopping on the Denny's Manufacturing Facebook sale. These guys are really awesome. I bought them Thursday and picked them up on Friday. These are 3 Neoprene rollup floors that look like real wood when I photograph them and they are baby drool proof. Can't get that with paper floors.
They look really great.
Michael treated us and his family to a wonderful dinner for Good Friday.
I found a new beverage. I hope I still have some around for happy hour week.
And the kids dyed more eggs than necessary. {Again this year.}
Wishing you a wonderful week and happy and blessed Easter Holiday with the people you love. Make it a GREAT week!
XoXoXo,
Daphne

Angelia Sims - Ohhhhh, I like the new floors! Very pretty! And your Good Friday dinner looks sooooo delicious! Friends of ours do the best crawfish boil. YUM.
Baby Jackson looks great with his new do! Thanks for keeping up with the Project 52 every week. We really appreciate it and what is going on with Flickr? I can't even log in using gmail anymore. They created me a Yahoo account. Geebus. Have a great week!

Kelly - Though I haven't posted the last few blogs I have still read them all. This one was especially sweet :) I can't wait to see the rolled up floors soon! I see you got a great shot with your new bathtub, bubbly water included in the form of a tutu. Excellent!
And of all your first unique experiences...the photographers drink, the conversion to Catholicism, and First Studio Carnival my Very Favorite is Jefferson's FIRST BIG BOY CUT!!! Fantastic!! <3
