Light. We're basking in it. Hiding from it. Painting with it. And it's for sale. Some of us photographed the light of our life. Some used the sun's light to create photography Magic. No matter what light you used, there was certainly something amazing happening in our group this week. We are building the confidence to step out of our creative comfort zones. We're trying new things. We're posting tips and advice and how to's. This is what our group is about and it's only week 13. Awesome guys! I'm so proud to be a part of this group. Keep up the amazing efforts!

Week 14's theme is Blessings.

I have always used Holy Week as a week of reflection. I count my blessings and I'm thankful. We have so many blessings. Slow down this week and think about them. I can't wait to see you photograph yours.

This is Kathryne.  She's three. If you've photographed three year olds, you KNOW what a challenge this shot was to get. {We were trying to stand on one foot here} I feel blessed to have work that feels like playing dress up to have a job I love with clients who value what I can offer. It's a feeling I just can't put into words.  {Seriously, I'm tearing up just thinking about it.}

What's NEW with Daphne Ellenburg?

Since I'm in the middle of my busy 3 weeks. I'm really beat. I wake up at 5am to edit and organize before my babies wake up and I'm up late doing the same while they sleep. And in between I'm rocking out my super Mom status. It's exhausting work. But its happy work.

Jackson asked me to help him with his school project. He had to make his own country. I think the Disney font gave it that something extra that deserved an A.

Grant and the Tigers have two wins in a row. And I got to watch him slide into home Monday and watch the umpire declare him safe in a cloud of orange dust.  

This is my studio. Did you know I have 15 windows that I NEVER use. I've been having my coffee with Sue Bryce every morning and she's really got me thinking about using them. PS I love Sue Bryce. If you haven't checked out 28 days with Sue on Creative Live ~ do it. Worth Every Penny.

I delivered some smiles. Absolutely a highlight every week!

And I'm super excited that I booked a Mother Daughter Cruise for next year to Cozumel with my Sorority Sisters. It's going to be like college, but on a boat, with our girls and probably with less vodka. Me and Madison all by ourselves. She is really excited. So am I.

Last night I was editing in my office {same as every night this week} when I heard a noise from my bird cage. My "mr Tweets" had a real bird friend. I freaked out for 60 seconds then my Husband opened the door to my studio and he flew out into the night. Crazy.
